Superprime had plenty to celebrate at this year’s CICLOPE Festival. Josh Safdie took home Gold in Direction for Nike’s “Sleep Well, NY,” produced by Superprime in collaboration with Wieden+Kennedy. The film celebrates the New York Knicks’ championship victory, capturing the energy and emotion of a city that had waited 53 years for the moment.

Beyond the awards, Superprime Managing Director and Executive Producer Rebecca Skinner took to the stage for “The Art of Letting Go: Finding the Balance Between Control and Creative Trust,” alongside David Lee, Chief Brand & Creative Officer at Squarespace, and Eric Stern, Partner & Managing Director at Anonymous Content.

Drawing on experiences working with acclaimed feature directors including Martin Scorsese, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Damien Chazelle, the conversation explored the delicate balance between protecting a director’s creative vision and navigating the demands of brand storytelling. The discussion offered an inside look at what it takes to build trust and make these collaborations work, with ‘Unavailable’ serving as a perfect example of a successful creative partnership.
