Barcelona-based director Pablo Maestres joins Superprime for US representation. Combining technical prowess and striking imagery, his work often features spontaneous moments of magical realism and humorous absurdities. With an impressive portfolio featuring renowned global brands such as Volkswagen, Minecraft, and Fanta, Maestres’ attention to detail and use of complex choreography are particularly evident in his campaign for Smirnoff Seltzer. His recent work for Netflix and Endesa showcases dynamic camerawork, clever sound design, and a hint of humor that captivates viewers’ attention.
Starting out as a photographer in the Barcelona music scene, Maestres’ talent for visual storytelling soon paved the way for a thriving career as a highly sought-after music video director. His work has been recognized at numerous festivals and award shows including SXSW, D&AD, YDA in Cannes, Ciclope, and UKMVA.
